Touchstone and UNICEDE
Verisk provides a public reference to support the validation of UNICEDE-format exposure data in Touchstone.
UNICEDE, is just one (open format) exposure data formats used by Verisk for analyzing insurance contracts and insurance-linked securities.
Refer to the model documentation on the Client Portal for detailed information about modeled perils, construction classes, and occupancy classes, for each model.
Documentation for some Verisk models includes a document that serves as a guide to the secondary risk characteristics (SRCs) used in the model. SRCs are features of a building and its environment that have a significant impact on the building’s vulnerability to damage during an event. The SRCs are important contributing factors to losses sustained by residential, commercial, and industrial properties. You can search the Client Portal for SRC documents by typing secondary risk characteristics in the Search field.
